Abstract
This paper covers the use of Ultrasonic (UT) Phased Arrays for the automated full length ultrasonic inspection of tubular goods. The technology provides increased flexibility to adapt to varying defect locations, shapes and orientations.
Demanding inspection parameters can be optimized for tubulars such as those used in High Pressure/High Temperature Sour Wells.
