A major purpose of this paper has been directed toward mathematical representation of Gawn-Burrill KCA flat-faced, segmental section propeller series for open-water characteristics and the more difficult problem of representing the cavitating regime. Regression technique was applied and polynomials are given for thrust and torque coefficients for both environments. Selecting of optimal propeller can be accomplished by computer-aided techniques utilizing the mathematical model described herein.
