A method for predicting rudder-propeller interaction is presented and compared with experimental measurements. A surface panel program (PALSUPAN) forms the basis of the analysis. The rudder and propeller are modelled separately using an iterative process whereby their respective interaction is accounted/or through modifying their inflow velocity field.
