This paper reviews recent developments in nuclear well logging. A variety of new and evolving technologies are covered from the perspective that tool physics is a key element in log analysis. Major emphasis is placed on measurement-while-drilling, geochemical logging, and modeling of tool response. An extensive bibliography is included.
