Abstract

Although there have been many published works studying the factors affecting the level of rock fragmentation, however, until now, there have been no studies to clarify the particle-size distribution according to the distance from the center of charge. Therefore, based on the research and analysis of detonation theory at solid environment, combined with the explosion test of concrete small-scale models with the concentrated charge, the article has established the experimental discipline about the particle-size distribution according to the distance from the center of charge and recommended the solution to use explosive energy to achieve optimal results for rock fragmentation in construction.
