Abstract
The slow movement of the large-scale landslide block has been continuously prolonging from 2013 to the present, which has been narrowing stream bed at slope foot, causing surface deformation and dehydration of an agricultural land area in Ban Ich, Bac Hop commune, Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang province. Results of the identification of landslides by UAV, geophysical measurements, geotechnical exploration drilling and numerical modeling analysis not only showed the scale of the sliding mass of over 20 ha, the type of soil creep mixture (Varnes, 1978), but also showed the cause of skidding due to complex geological conditions combined with the expansion of roadway NH34 in 2012-2013.
