Abstract

The paper is dealing with a description of a landslide that occured at the site “Duboka dolina” in Bunuševac (Vranje), as well as the designed remediation measures. The landslide affected a part of the settlement and the surrounding uninhabited terrain on an area of about 3 ha. The current condition of the terrain, which is affected by landslide processes, requires urgent and long-term remediation measures. Based on the available cadastral–topographic data and geotechnical report, the landslide remediation is proposed by installation of horizontal drains and modification of the slope geometry by adding the earth material in the lower part of the slope. In order to verify the proposed remediation measures, slope stability analyses were performed using the software “Geostructural Analysis – Slope Stability”.
