Libra Applied Technology Strategy is to add value through a portfolio of technologies and innovations that can be directly applied and enhance value along the full lifecycle of the Libra asset. The objective of this session is to provide an overview of the portfolio that covers technology developments and applications from the reservoir to the crude offloading point. It includes among others investments in well completions, sub-sea systems, reservoir characterization and 4D seismic monitoring technologies to enhance production and oil recovery. There is as well a strong focus on produced gas management, in view of the high GOR and high CO2 content of associated gas, with the development and prototyping of sub-sea equipment like HISEP. The program extends to include work in Human Factor and Resilience engineering, with the focus on offshore complex integrated operations, in order to promote accident prevention and to improve overall operational performance and strengthen the safety culture. Finally, the fast evolution of the capacity to acquire, treat and analyze very large volumes of data associated with the use of technologies, such as sensors, automation and robotics, are promoting a significant change in the productive processes. In this context, the Libr@Digital program was developed to ensure the transformation of Libra's ways of working, culture and processes through the use of digital technologies. This program aims to move Libra into a fully connected asset, capable of providing data and information to monitor, diagnose and action on trends that can impact on the health and safety of people and the environment, on the field development and its overall lifecycle performance.
