There have been many changes in the oil and gas industry in the past few years. An organization's ability to change has become a major competitive advantage. Employees must remain flexible, agile and patient to get through the changes effectively and remain productive. Human Performance is the way people, culture, equipment, work systems and processes interact as a system. The Human performance model can be used to address fatigue and stress, factors of human performance that can impact workforce safety. A workshop was developed for the workforce using SMEs from Medical, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Employee wellness. This approach was used to: 1. Explain the connections between fatigue, stress, human performance and safety 2. Present physical and psychological wellbeing resources available in the workplace: Resilience training, EAP, and Wellness programs 3. Provide personal strategies for improving wellbeing.
