This paper describes the use of remote diagnostics systems aboard ice-going LNG carriers to continually record, consolidate, upload, and analyze electrical ice-breaking propulsion performance indices and physical quantities. The study performed, which was based on retrieving and further analysis of consolidated and uploaded data, represents a loop closure on the assessment and review of the design assumptions made in the inception of the advanced propulsion control algorithms employed aboard.

Some of the OnePetro partner societies have developed subject- specific wikis that may help.

PetroWiki was initially created from the seven volume  Petroleum Engineering Handbook (PEH) published by the  Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

The SEG Wiki is a useful collection of information for working geophysicists, educators, and students in the field of geophysics. The initial content has been derived from : Robert E. Sheriff's Encyclopedic Dictionary of Applied Geophysics, fourth edition.
