With higher environment and security requirements in offshore seismic exploration, the usage of explosive is increasingly strict. Super-critical CO2 source is one kind of environment friendly sources, which is featured with no residue after fired and slighter effect to the environment, therefore it is suitable for seismic exploration. In recent years, several tests were conducted using CO2 Source to acquire stack of 2D data. After the analysis of the data from the test, in the stack of CO2 source, the dominate frequency and signal-to-noise ratio of shallow layers are high. The continuous reflection is in the deep layers. The effective reflection information is abundant in the exploration target layer (2000-3500ms) with obvious events group characteristics. The whole stack shows a fairly clear fault structure. Overall, the effective reflection information from the stack of CO2 source at the low-frequency is not as good as that of the explosive, but the effective reflection information at the high-frequency is more abundant.
