This reprint volume provides a series of articles of case histories on evaluation, stimulation, and development of tight gas reservoirs. These articles demonstrate how to develop and apply the technologies and practices in geological analysis and formation evaluation, and to include log interpretation, coring and core analysis, special core analysis, formation test, correlation of log and core analyses, in-situ stress, permeability distribution and correlations, and estimating net-pay and gas-in-place. These papers also include examples of prefracture well testing, post-fracture well testing, analytical and numerical modeling, hydraulic fracture design and evaluation, reserve estimates, and economic analysis, which are discussed in Parts 1, 2, and 3 of this book series.
