Abstract

Knowledge-sharing approach helps employees reflect on and capture lessons and proven practices from projects or events aiming for excellence in performance. Lessons learned activities typically focus on questions such as "what did we do right?" and "how can we improve to be more effective in the future?" These activities are sometimes referred to as after action reviews, post-mortems, or event debriefs. LLKMS is development of business process to record, capture and share tacit learnings of SMEs emerging out of their experiences and the know how. These learnings hosted and managed in common Knowledge Base so that employees can easily access these learnings when performing tasks.

The objective of presentation is to share KOC's experience with the establishment of Lessons Learnt Knowledge Base and how it helped knowledge retention, process improvements and avoidance of re-inventing the wheel.
