Khurais Central Processing Facility Overview

The geographical location of the Khurais Central Processing Facility (KhCPF) is around 250 km southwest of Dhahran, where Saudi Aramco’s headquarters are located. KhCPF were commissioned and started in May 2009.

The gas-oil separation plants (GOSPs) of KhCPF consist of four parallel 25% capacity processing trains. The GOSPs in the KhCPF are designed to produce 1,263 MBOD of stabilized dry Arab Light (AL) crude oil, which is routed to the crude export pipeline during normal operation.
