As the Putaohua oilfield developing, the fracturing stimulation effect is getting worse gradually, and the low efficient wells are taking a larger and larger proportion. This paper discover the oil stimulation rules of fracturing wells through statistical analyzing 300 wells’ production data before and after fracturing in Putaohua Oilfield. Based on the rules, mathematic model deduced by fuzzy method was used to instruct selecting wells and formations of fracturing wells. The application results show that the method is effective and easy to exercise, so it could be a ground for selecting fracturing wells and formations in Putaohua Oilfield in the future.
