Abstract
Basic constituents of oil production costs include production specific volumes, electric power consumption, equipment costs and costs for production operations and well survey. Methods to increase oil production profitability currently used are usually aimed at improving only one of the above mentioned factors and often to the detriment of another factor. Short-time periodical operation of oil production wells using an ESP unit allows improving all the basic constituents of oil production profitability.
