The issue of automatic transfer of well data was successfully resolved long time ago by means of WITS\WITSML protocols, and now automatic processing of the received data is on the agenda. The article describes the basics of automatic well geosteering, cross-check of the results of automatic geosteering performed by specialists, conceptualizes a new workflow and proposes scenarios for further development of the discipline.
