The article is a continuation of the work of SPE 176699 [1]. It presents the results of the study of a new reservoir at the Boca de Jaruco field of the Republic of Cuba. This reservoir was not previously considered as a promising development, but in the process of pilot work (PW) from this reservoir managed to obtain an industrial inflow of oil. The paper presents the results of laboratory studies and the results of PW on testing of the technology of steam injection at two plots, the ways of optimization of development are considered.
