Abstract
The objective of the paper is designing of equipment and technologies to stimulate viscous and high viscosity oil deposits by steam and gas using monofuel. The activities were conducted as part of the governmental programme. The specific feature of the technology lies in the use of a steam and gas generator being installed in the bottomhole of the well.
Progressing development of viscous and highly viscous oil (VHO) deposits is becoming an issue of the day with the recovery of light oils.
One of the ways to enhance the efficiency of thermal VHO development methods is generation of a thermal agent directly in the bottomhole (1). To implement such technology the OJSC “RITEK” specialists as part of the governmental programme have performed works on designing a down-hole steam and gas generator as well as surface and down-hole equipment system to ensure its operation.
