A system was designed for the Green Canyon 52 A Platform (Marquette Project) to gravel pack close proximity, dual zones in a single trip. The use of this single trip system resulted in significant time and cost savings when compared to similar conventional dual gravel packs performed on this platform.

This paper describes the equipment, the benefits and limitations of the system, a comparison of operations and associated time between a conventional dual and a single trip dual gravel pack, and the specific well parameters and field results.
