The performance of three CO2 corrosion inhibitor products was tested in an impinging jet apparatus. The test conditions were 40 °C, 1 bar CO2, pH 5, 3 % NaCl. The O2 concentration was deliberately held within two different ranges: 2-4 ppb, and 10-30 ppb. The jet flow velocity was varied in the range 0.5-20 m/s. The flow velocity did not affect the inhibitor performance with the O2 concentration in the lower range. Flow dependent O2 corrosion was observed in the higher concentration range.
