On behalf of A6IP S.P.A., a joint venture consisting of Kværner Engineering, Snamprogetti S.P.A. and Technomare S.P.A., is developing a production system and an installation and maintenance system for operation in waters down to 1000m deep.

The Research and Development project is financially supported by the EEC.

The project is named "SAF" (Sistemi per Alti Fondali).
