Abstract
This paper presents a new technology for oil recovery enhancement in heterogeneous waterflooding under high tempterature and high water salinity the method mainly is to inject a mineral dispersion system(SMD) to improve the sweep effciency and recover the residual oil by emulsification-entrainment. This system is a pseudoplastic fluid with temperature tolerance, shearing resistence and good stability. Core flooding tests show the oil recovery is increased by 10%. The displacement nechanisms have been studied by microscopic modeling technique. After a successful pilot test,The commercial field test are conducted and the initial results are obtained.
