Restoring the well's productivity from existing damaged or partially damaged formations has been the objective of many operators over the years. The damaged or partially damged formations requires to diagnose the causes of the damage in order to design the proper stimulation treatment to remove the damage and restore the well productivity. Drilling fluid, completion fluid and kill fluid have the potential to be the most damaging portion of reservoir life.
