ABSTRACT
The LNG plant on Das Island, Abu Dhabi, has been in operation since 1976. Its control system has been modernized from conventional analogue to a distributed control system (DCS) utilizing a Honeywell TDC3000 system. The Plant control was changed over from the old system to the new system on a loop by loop basis whilst the units remained in operation.
