In mid-nineties there has been some indication that "behavior-based safety - BBS" is entering the mainstream vocabulary of safety professionals. Bapco has been one of the organizations in the region that implemented BBS during 2006 and is beginning to achieve its stated objectives.

There has been however many myths and misconceptions associated with BBS in the industry in general which hinders its potential impact in injury reduction.
