ABSTRACT
Results of core analysis, including displacement efficiency estimates and the effects of in-situ combustion on reservoir rock and fluids are presented in this paper. High vertical sweep efficiency is evident contrary to predictions by most thermal simulators that little heat would be transported below the burnt zone at this distance from the injector. The usefulness of petrophysical analysis as a diagnostic tool is also demonstrated.
