Abstract

This paper mainly describes the methods and application of fractal techniques in reservoir development, including parameter analysis, modeling methods and application results of fractal techniques in the research on pore structure, distribution of heterogeneity of porosity or permeability and reservoir simulation. Some numerical algorithms in sofiware and its application effect are also discussed.
