Abstract
This paper presents the importance of offshore oil operation safety and lessens from serious accidents. CNOOC has explored a correct way for offshore oil safety management.
The paper describes the safety management system for China offshore oil industry and its content around eight areas.
The paper also introduces the recently plan and arrangement on safety and environmental protection management of CNOOC.
