Abstract
The success of combined using SSAW and LSAW pipes for oil and gas pipeline in large scale is an important breakthrough of metallurgical and steel pipe manufacturing technology in China. Based on the greatly improved quality of SSAW pipe, this technology has brought up a very reliable and economic approach for pipeline Construction and a promising prospect of expanding the use of SSAW pipe. CNPC has applied this technology to construct many oil and gas pipelines both in and outside China successfully.
