This article presents an approach for solving the transient flow equations. By means of semi-discretization an approximate analytical solution of a set of partial differential equations describing the compressible fluid flow through naturally fractured formation is derived in a clear and applicable form

under the most general conditions the details of derivation and the physical concepts of each parameter in that expression are given. Based on those equations, some important parameters such as transmissibility between wells from one porevolumes of each block as well as the location of some faults can be identified by conventional data or well testing data. This method is a new development in the interpretation of well testing data. This paper is a generalization of paper (1)(2) into three dimensions and doubleporosity media.
