Water Flood Regime Study of High Dip Reservoir with Narrow Oil Zone

To high dip reservoir with narrow oil zone, different water flooding regime has different development effect because of the affection of several factors. Geologic ideal models with different strata dip and permeability were built in this paper. By using these models, reserve recovery degree of crest flood and bottom water flood were calculated and compared though numeric simulation. Gravity and capillary pressure, as the most important affection factors, were considered during water flooding. According to geologic characteristics of one high dip reservoir with narrow oil zone in Mongolia, a new plate of reserve recovery degree was described, from which reserve recovery degree could forecast directly.
