ABSTRACT
This paper presents the results of a feasibility and definition study of the EUREKA project Modelling and Monitoring of Discharges from Offshore Oil and Gas Platforms (M&M).
The study, executed between October 1990 and June 1991, concluded that the development of a system to predict the behaviour and effect of discharges from offshore oil and gas platforms is feasible.
Such a M&M system could be accomplished by adapting existing software and hardware modules and developing the necessary interfaces.
