Abstract
Instead of working on health, safety, and environment (HSE) issues individually, recent experiences in Brunei demonstrate the benefits of working together in a partnership within the oilfield community. The united approach has enabled more effective sharing of lessons learned and best practices within the oilfield community.
Analyzing past recordable cases and the completion of an employee survey led a joint team of HSE professionals to take action in areas of commitment and leadership, policies, training and competence, risk management, and reward and recognition.
