The Rock Creek Methane From Multiple Coal Seams Completion Project is a multi-year joint venture between the Gas Research Institute and United States Steel Corporation. The project objective is to evaluate and recommend methods to profitably produce gas from shallow, multiple coal seams. Overall project plans and specific results in the areas of geology, reservoir characterization, drilling and completion, and economic analysis are presented.
