Thermodynamic state of any hydrocarbon mixture in gas-condensate reservoir is characterized by the near-critical behavior. The new approach is proposed to simulate the behavior of gas-condensate mixtures under high temperature and pressure. Instead of the classical approach based on the updated theory of ideal gases, the new approach is based on the theory of fluid behavior in wide vicinity of critical point. New equations of state are proposed. Anomalous properties of gas-condensate mixtures appropriated to the near-critical systems are detected. They are the anomalous fluid density profile in gravity field, the influence of porous medium of thermodynamic fluid behavior. These phenomena are shown to significantly affect the hydrocarbon reserves estimation.
