ADNOC-Onshore places Data at the center stage of strategic-planning and decision-making deliberations. It became more obvious than before that developing an agile data governance structure is vital to effectively deliver high quality data that can be confidently used in the path to becoming a data and process-driven organization and act as a foundation for excellent data management. To this end, the Data Management department launched an agile Data Governance Program aiming at maximizing the value extracted from data via the continuous improvement of data management practices. This paper illustrates the method of defining, planning and implementing the Data governance program in ADNOC Onshore.
