Abstract
The proppant transporting ability of most hydraulic fracturing fluids is both time and temperature dependent. A proppant transport model that considers this dependence and the fluid temperature variation throughout a fracturing treatment has been devised. This model provides the basis for a numerical method to aid in selecting staged gel and gel stabilizer concentrations.
