Abstract
Coalescence microseismic mapping (CMM) is a method of hypocenter determination that does not require any human interaction during microseismic monitoring. Microseismic events can be detected, located and displayed on a laptop computer screen within seconds of their origin time. This paper describes both the method and results of a horizontal well case study in a tight gas reservoir.
