A North Sea well has been planned to recover gas/condensate reserves utilising a wellbore drilled to a depth of approximately 25,000’, reaching a maximum hole angle of 78 degrees. A monobore completion will be installed. Coiled tubing has been determined the best option to convey cased hole, electric-line logging tools and to deploy an expendable TCP assembly for under balance perforating. This paper discusses the engineering undertaken to apply proven coiled tubing technology to this difficult completion operation.
