Abstract

Coiled Tubing (CT) has successfully been utilized to enter wells in the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) with well head pressures up to 7500 psi. Several different applications has been applied to high pressure wells, thereby yielding savings to the operators and increasing the operational safety. The equipment is presented along with the CT material selection. The business mix and operational statistics are presented and discussed.
