Solutions and examples are presented for the pressure-transient behavior of wells producing from reservoirs made up of two or more coupled linear segments. The solutions are based on numerical shemes in terms of Laplace transforms of the pressure behavior of linear reservoirs.

The simplest cases considered consist of single self-intersecting linear reservoirs, and reservoirs formed as intersections of two and three linear reservoirs with identical properties. Generalizations to cases where each reservoir has its own properties is straightforward, only with more detailed input parameters.

General rectangular patterns of linear segments are also treated, with symmetric square patterns simplified to stepwise linear system.
