This paper describes two methods for modeling cyclic CO2 injection projects: (1) analytic, based on decline curve analysis, and (2) numeric, based on 2D and 3D compositional radial models derived from detailed geostatistical analysis of near wellbore properties. The application of the decline curve analysis is shown for several published and unpublished CO2 Huff-Puff projects. The numeric models are described for successful and unsuccessful field trials.
