ABSTRACT
The theory describing the flow of fluid in a spherical system affected by wellbore storage has been derived. Type curves have subsequently been developed based upon this derived theory which facilitate the analysis of spherical flow behaviour dominated by wellbore storage at short times. The analysis of long time pressure transients when wellbore storage becomes less important is also discussed with reference to a cartesian plotting technique.
Finally the analysis of data from interference tests for isotropic and anisotropic systems is also discussed.
