Abstract
Based on sedimentary characterizations of the fluvial-deltaic reservoirs in Daqing oil field, the rules of oil and water movement in various sedimentary facies were analyzed in the process of waterflooding programs, then remaing oil distribution in such reservoirs was presented. Mechanisms to leave current remaining oil patterns were investigated in light of areal and vertical characteristics, indicating potentials of improved waterflooding of the remained oil in the reservoirs.
