Abstract
During recent years, the issue of assessment of the current status of industrial facilities, subordinated to Rostechnadzor (Federal Environmental, Engineering and Nuclear Supervision Agency), is getting more and more important. It is primarily connected with the aging of equipment and the need for extending service life and ensuring safe operation. In addition, the awareness of the current technical status of equipment can allow for extending run period, which is also cost-effective.
