In this paper authors propose an approach to the identification and predicting the waterflooding efficiency. The method is based on the simplified analytical model of the well performance in the waterflood pattern. This model allows us to calculate well productivity in waterflood pattern in all regimes (transient, pseudo-steady, steady) and carry out various practical calculations to determine the efficiency of reservoir-pressure maintenance. The paper presents examples of the described approach application.
