The aim of this paper is to analyze the effect of installing bilge keels on a classic recreational craft. This paper included five stages: the first stage of all, the measurement of the hull resistance without installing the bilge keels for the service speed. Secondly, the determination of the roll period and the damping coefficient in order to demonstrate the effect of damping on the roll amplitude. In the third place, same as before however fitting the bilge keels to the curvature of the hull. In fourth place, the determination of the hull resistance using the bilge keels. Finally the results will be discussed.
