The design cycle began with a very new team with only few senior members with some experience from the year prior. It was decided early that our goals as a team were to apply our knowledge gained from the classroom into design exercises with a heavy focus on research. Much of the effort was spent early on developing a web site, www.uw-hps.com, and a sales brochure for use with fundraising and public awareness. At the same time other members were busy developing designs and formulating the research to be conducted.
