In the present paper a complete procedure which provides a rapid and low cost method for load evaluation in each rigging element of a sailboat like stays in the fore and aft direction, shrouds in the athwartship, sheets, halyards, and running back stays, will be described. Some results obtained using the proposed method will be shown relevant to an arbitrary chosen cruising sailing yacht.
